back to school, ladies and gentlemen...

It's been over two years since I've been to school and I couldn't be more excited to be back. I've taken different courses here and there the last two years but nothing compares going to school Monday through Friday and getting some proper homework. You can call me crazy for being excited about going back to school, but that's how much of a nerd I am (or at least want to be...)

I'm about to start my second week and so far it's been going great. Last week in our reading and writing class we mostly concentrated on sentences and how to understand them. It seemed easy at first but the further we got with our exercises to trickier they got. And here I was thinking that I'm good at speaking and writing English...hmmm...
Nevertheless, I know this class will help me a lot as long as I stay focused and keep my mind in it! So here's a mental note to myself - don't fall a sleep in class and do your homework on time, young lady! got it.

As I mentioned before, last week we talked about sentences (or more specifically - Understanding Sentence Patterns). We also started reading a novel by Barbara Kingsolver called "The Poisonwood Bible". Unfortunately I can't give any comments about the book at the moment, cause I just started it, but it sounds (looks?) promising and Diane (our lovely instructor) says it's really good. I trust her.

So as I was surfing the Internet, trying to find something interesting (related to reading and writing) to add to my blog i came across an interesting web-site oddee.com. They have an interesting article about bookcases.
Check it out - http://www.oddee.com/item_97601.aspx
My personal favorites are (spoiler alert!) nr.2 - US Map bookshelf and nr.9 - READ bookshelf.
So, my dear future husband, if you happen to read this then know, that in our beautiful big colonial house, one of those bookshelfs is mandatory. There are other things, too, but we'll talk about them some other time, in private...
So that's "a thing" I'll try to do from now on with my blogs, find something interesting (or what I find interesting) and share it with you guys.

Until next time...
say "hi" to your proffesor for me and read you later! :)
